aaronaaron11 0 Posted May 24, 2021 Hi all. My job is a hotel manager, we need to renew our security system, which means I need to find a good NVR to set up. There's no staff have experience with CCTV, so I am here to ask for help. To enhanced the security of the hotel, we need a 24/7 recording cctv with functions like people counting, face detection etc. I'm looking for brand suggestions. I also know that there are so many products with 5 star reviews are fake so I don't believe them. Any suggestions? Much appreciated.

JustinBlack 0 Posted February 13, 2022 NVR does support SSD. In fact, SSD is better than HDD when it comes to reliability, uptime, high-quality video, and durability.

In fact, SSD is better than HDD when it comes to reliability, uptime, high-quality video, and durability. False information. CCTV HDDs are designed for a purpose. They are designed to withstand constant writing data to each memory block. SSDs not designed for cctv will not last more than a few years with constant data being written. Claims of improving video quality is also false because the storage device is just to store data, it does not alter the video in anyway.
