pbournias 0 Posted July 21, 2021 Hi everyone, Just curious to know if others have cameras recording changes in sunlight sensitivity? During the afternoons to evenings when there are clouds, the cameras begin recording as if there is movement but there isn't any. As my cameras only have event detection using sensitivity and threshold, I don't think that these settings will have any effect but am not sure. I have also ignore short-lived motion set for 2 seconds. Thanks in advance.
Jasonlou 0 Posted March 17, 2022 if you set the motion recording, pixels change will trigger the record.
Barathrum 0 Posted May 18, 2022 Recently I discovered that my outdoor security cameras from Vivint smart home do not have the same colors as when initially installed. I thought it might be a bug, or it's just the lighting. Later I understood that it's because of the sun. Your problem, related to detecting motion, is much more dangerous. I would recommend checking them up so that, if needed, you can follow everything on it and have all the necessary proof. If you are using one company's services, ask them to do the check-up.
