Hikvision colorvu ptz joystick

Hi guys 

 

                    I need your advice again if you don't mind,  i'm looking at buying one of the hikvision colorvu mini ptz cameras tomorrow but i'm told it won't work on my rs485 pelco d joystick that i already own and personally i hate trying to use a mouse to move my camera etc , is this true that it won't work on my joystick ?

 

Also just to add i was told you can buy the rs485 to usb converter boards , do you think this would work on mine instead of buying one of the new usb joysticks made by hikvision .
