Dulwich 0 Posted August 31, 2021 I have domestic CCTV system with 7 Vivotek cameras and a Vivotek ND9322NP-V2 NVR. The NVR is in kocated in the garage togerher with the network cabinet. I'm really pleased with it however a little concerned that whenever we get a warmish day ( say 75 deg F) the cooling fan in the NVR seems to run continuously. Should I be concerned? Would it cool better if i mounted it vertically?
tomcctv 190 Posted August 31, 2021 Hi. Nvrs do get hot ….. but turning vertically won’t make any difference I would lift nvr up off your network cabinet as the heat from that is rising up to your nvr which is not helping
