CCTV camera into television

Hi, probably a stupid question, I've connected a CCTV camera into my TV via the video input on a scart connector. It works as in I get an image but the image flickers to much to be useful. Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi it depends on camera format. 
going into your scart you can only use a standard analog camera 

sounds like you have used a HD analog … cvi tvi ahd which won’t work on scart

just look for a cheap dvr
