ADB 0 Posted February 4, 2022 I have inherited a MaxOne M1A-PR104 4-channel DVR. Unfortunately the password has been set on the 'admin' account. I've tried lots of default passwords I could find online but none have worked. Rather than just salvage the HD I was hoping to salvage the whole thing. I have tried various methods to reset/default the unit that I have found online, however none have worked so far. I have taken the CR2032 battery out, however this just resets the clock. I have tried the four software tools I could find online that generate a password based on the date/time (with the battery removed it resets to 01/01/2015 10:00). I have looked for jumpers or solder pads on the motherboard to short-out whilst booting - found a few solder pads labelled 'PT1', J10 and a couple of other unlabelled pads. There is also a 4-pin UART0 header. The motherboard says 'RS-DM-391B' and I can find some references to DM-391 online. I think MaxxOne just rebrand this as it looks like other DVRs I've seen in my searches. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
