This is probably the silliest of all questions, but I want to know for sure if when I replace the HDD on my DVR with new one, can I later go back and put the old one back in for the sole purpose of review/retrieval of it's the video footage? I can't find an answer by using google or such but I want to be sure that the answer is "of course". If so, exactly what is the procedure so the DVR (LOREX D871A8) does not immediately start overwriting the old data before I can review the stored video footage. UPDATE: found out how to do it by doing it. LOL! Just had to change the "overwrite" to "stop" and then install the old drive.
