rory 0 Posted September 30, 2006 It may just not recognise it .. cant say as we dont work with those type of DVRs .. but with a High End DVR i can get a month easy with 4 cameras on motion detection in a business application with only a 40GB Stand Alone DVR. Either way even with maxed out recording you should easily get a week, heck im getting 2 days on my personal PC with just 2GB of available space using Mpeg4 and 720x480 Recording ... motion record but there's a ton of motion. Even if using Wavelet or JPeg (whichever the DIY DVRs use) should still get longer than that .. what size HDD is it?
