Edd 0 Posted March 7, 2022 Hello, 1st time user who would be extremely grateful if anyone could help with this one. Home CCTV system installed about 7 years ago, very basic with an Annke DVR and 4 cameras dotted around outside. All worked well until about 6 months ago when it all packed up, a bit of research and a replacement electrical plug and all worked well again until recently when I noticed that although all was good during the day ALL 4 cameras were flickering at night, long periods off (about 10 seconds) for each followed by about a second actually on. Once daylight came around all would be good again. Outside at night you could see each camera's infa red lights going on and off accompanied by a loud clicking. A bit more research and I thought the DVR had given out as all 4 cameras were affected, I replaced the DVR with a new one, moved the HDD from the old box into the new but have the same problem, if not worse. I've tried connecting each camera individually to the DVR try and isolate it but the same result even if its all 4 cameras connected or just one. I can't imagine all 4 cameras would die at the same time so have concluded they must be fine(?) and with a new DVR attached to them I'm struggling to work this out? Would appreciate any ideas. Many thanks ed
