rory 0 Posted October 1, 2006 Nice! Any more shots you got please post .. I gotta read their details, but does the live view do multiviews also ..? Is that just the player ... Thanks Rory
lemike 0 Posted October 1, 2006 hello rory, not sure i understood your question, for live view you can either go thru the camera page or use the mobotix mxviewer software, it allows to see for example the 2 cams live with the latest events, you can browse and play events with the software (with the audio channel, you can also send audio to the camra if you have a microphone) many layout are configurable, you can monitor up to 30 cams at cif resolution: you can also set multi view via the camera page (with different cams from your LAN) there are many many extra features, have a quick look to mobotix website

lemike 0 Posted October 2, 2006 (edited) hi, public prices are available here: http://www.mobotix.com/eng/file/32577/mx_cam-overview_us_200.pdf i'm using an mx-22-m (means one lens) - secure (means that it is used for security application : recording on lan is possible) - night (means BW sensor) and an mx-12-d (means 2 lens) - secure - Dnight (means 1 color sensor and 1 BW sensor) you can combine diffrent lens on the m12, like a zoom and a wide angle lens, some demo cams are availble here: http://www.digitaalhekwerk.nl/Hoofdzaken/index.html the best quote i had was a 10% discount on public price, it's quite difficult to open an account @ mobotix, if you find better prices kindly let me know distributors can be found here: http://www.mobotix.com/eng/partners/mobotix_partners concerning the the file size here is the chart: i'm using 70% quality more technical info here: http://www.mobotix.com/eng/technology Edited October 2, 2006 by Guest

kao 0 Posted October 2, 2006 Thanks for the post. Are you just testing the cameras or do you have a specific application? It would be interesting to see some samples of them in use after final installation. How many cameras are you using? Do they have their own network or are they on an existing network? lemike 0 Posted October 2, 2006 hi, i'm definitivly satisfied by the product so i'll keep them, the two cams are used to identify persons on critical points of a sensible bulding, the actual position might be the final ones, i'm using the corporation LAN, as the bandwith consumption is very low
