How do I work PTZ on DVR that has no RS485 port

Greetings friends, I have been having trouble trying to work PTZ on my DOME camera using the DVR. How can I work this without having to buy the PTZ joystick, is it possible that I can work PTZ through the BNC

Hi. You must be using a 15 year old recorder as most do have PTZ control

also look at the back of your dvr of nothing marked up as 485 then you should see two connectors marked as A & B  also ptz control
