Bunker Hill 62468 (helping elderly neighbor)

Hey everyone, 
I have an elderly neighbor, Vietnam vet who is in love with his 'classic' Bunker Hill security system. It's using the 62468 camera (yellow BNC if it matters). He has two giving him trouble. I don't know diddly-squat about security cameras, but I can Google with the best of them. 

This has a very low resolution and of course is virtually impossible to find a replacement. Expanding my search to alternative cameras I am lost in the technical jargon. I see there are different colors for BNC connectors, most are digital these days and so on. 

I want to be the good neighbor and help out, but I am not looking to rerun an entirely new system. He will be totally lost with something new. 

Any advice on replacing just the two cameras?
