rory 0 Posted June 22, 2004 Hi My mother received a family VCR tape from australia, we dont actually have a VCR to play it on, yet, just wondered if it would play in a US VCR machine, not sure if there was a problem with the PAL and NTSC thing? Joebo 0 Posted June 23, 2004 We've got the Samsung SV-5000W VCR. Plays back tapes from any source (PAL, NTSC, SECAM, etc.). Works like a champ. My wife's parents send tapes from Russia and we watch them all the time. Quite pricey but, it works great.
