wtk 0 Posted October 2, 2006 I have work in analog cameras, but I have got a customer that needs IP solution because he has got a wire LAN and wireless LAN inside of his company. The point is that I have some quotings of Talitor but I am not sure about that, I need to combine a wire and wireless applications, and I need a software which can support all this application. If there is any one who can advise me some suppliers. Thanks

msecure 0 Posted November 20, 2006 To the IP recording software whether it's wire or wireless it's just an IP number so there's no issue about mixing wire & wireless. Talitor's products looks like OEM from others but if your quantity is not big I think they should be ok! Also, you can consider using a 4 port AP in Client or WDS mode so you can use wired IP cameras all the way. They are more stable than wireless IP Cameras. wfernley 0 Posted December 4, 2006 Like msecure said, you can mix wired and wireless cameras without a problem. - How many cameras are they looking to get? - Do they need special requirements for the software? (ex. motion detection, archiving, alarms, etc..) - Do they have a budget?
