oaptrish 0 Posted June 8, 2022 Hi I wasn't sure if I should put my thread here or on the other one. As my user name suggests I am not a youngster and have none of the high tech skills of the younger generation and would appreciate any help you can give me please. I have cctv equipment and have managed to get so far with installing it but I don’t know how to connect up the DVR, the TV and the PC and make it all work together as it used to. It was all working at one time and had been installed by my late husband but it all got disconnected and the instructions have been lost. I can try to post pictures if that helps, can you help me with this please. Trish

tomcctv 190 Posted June 8, 2022 Hi on your first two pictures ….. you connect VGA on back of recorder to VGA marked on back of tv. to get your unit to talk with your pc ….. first you need to get your system up and running first as the software for your pc is taken from your dvr once all up and running remote viewing is done by an app called explorer which is found on apple store or play store
oaptrish 0 Posted June 9, 2022 I have connected the VGA on the back of the recorder to the VGA marked on the back of the tv and the cable from the cctv camera, but I cannot get a picture on the TV screen, pictures attached.

tomcctv 190 Posted June 9, 2022 Hi. You will need to run a network cable from your dvr to your router then you need to switch off your recorder after you have connected the cable switch back on ….. right click on your dvr screen to get to menu ….. half way down you will see guide ….. follow the instructions
