How XmEye connect to DVR/NVR?

Does anyone have an idea how these XmEye like Apps connect to your recorder at home?

Do they directly connect to your recorder through internet and home router or they connect to some other 3rd party server (somewhere else), which our recorder streams too?

Hi xmeye latches on to everything ….. even if you set your recorder up for local access only (only works on home network ) it still goes to 3rd party because of app on your devices 

 

if you read the terms and conditions of using the app ……. Which is another problem with xmeye they don’t make them available till app is down loaded 

xmeye monitors both recorder and which ever device you monitor your system with even if you switch your recorder off or set fire to it you are still passing information via the app on your devices

now there is a way around this but that depends on your location
