Jazz12 0 Posted September 7, 2022 Unit is LTS Security LTD8308T-FT. It is 8 years old. I turned it off for the first time to replace the UPS. Powered on and in the HDD config, it says HDD "not exist". I bought a new HDD (WD Purple 6TB, that is compatible), installed, checked connections at both ends of the SATA and Power cables. Powered on and still does not recognize the HDD. If I try to format the HDD, it says no HDD can be found. I thought it might be a bad power supply, but the unit powers up and works fine, can see the cameras, enter the configuration, and the hard drive gets warm!! Question: Should it automatically recognize the HDD? In the HDD Config, there is an "Add" button, but it is asking me for a NetHDD IP address and NetHDD Directory. I have no idea what that is and do not remember the old HDD being configured that way.
