TruVision NVR 10 Lost 6 years of video

Our TruVision NVR 10 has lost 6 years of video and now only shows about 10 days of recordings from 4 cameras.  The system has 1.6 Tb capacity.  Was installed 6 years ago.  Never had a problem recovering years ago footage.  Now after the 6 year aniversary, the device says its full ... it only goes back 10 days of video I can recover.  I need to recover recording from Sept 2, 2022.  Anybody know how to hack the hard drive to recover the footage?

Hi. 1.6TB will what shows on your screen …. It will be a 2tb which is max for that nvr 4 way

so am confused about the 6 years 

6 years can’t be held on a 2tb hard drive at h264

10 days is about right for 2tb on standard HD. 
even with motion set to lowest and smart record setting used still only gives max 16 days

Wow.  I reckon my installer was mistaken .... big time.  Thanks for clearing this up.
