Mxmaster 0 Posted November 13, 2022 Hi all, Great to join this forum!! Trying to help my dad with one of his cameras as the Ethernet cable got badly damaged. I have peeled back the cable and retired the connections to the wires colour for colour no problem, but the NRV still won’t sense the unit if plugged in via Ethernet. When I attach the power plug to the Jack, the camera does get power as I can see the lights come on via the front of the CCTV camera. But I have no green led on the Ethernet socket as I should. Basically, I peeled back the wires a little further, and found another 2 thin black wires originating from the power plug line - any ideas what these need to attach to please, as there are no corresponding wires further down the loom broken so clearly must have been bridged into something else? Could explain why my green led on Ethernet plug doesn’t work and not sensed by the NVR. image attached. thanks in advance. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
