re; fishing an eave .. you can also use a snake ... sometimes it can be pushed right to the attic entrance .. cant push PVC pipes in the attics here, too much AC duct ...

I use a 6' glowrod.

As per my other thread, the Glo rods are good as well.

 

Once again, these are cheap DIY options instead of having to buy the fancy stuff
