Safrisol Security 0 Posted February 13, 2023 Good day, please advise. I have an IP CAM covering my gate, which I am streaming wirelessly to the NVR through a wireless bridge (WisNet). I've installed a steel enclosure to house the PoE switch (for the IP Cam & WisNetworks), a multiplug (surge protect) and UPS (2KVA 1200 Watts 2 x 12V 9Ah Intern) for backup power support. The backup power only last 1.45hrs. My concern is that with power cuts longer than 1.45hrs the system "dies" and when the power comes back up, the CAM stream doesn't reconnect, but when you power down/up the power at the multiplug, the CAM stream reconnects. Why? Unfortunately it is not always possible for me to power down/up the system manually. Why doesn't the stream automatically reconnects when the grid power returns?
