Adam Daley 0 Posted November 2, 2006 I have a client with 5 stores. He has a DVR in each store. He would like to be able to sit at his main office and check out the video logs for each store... now we are aware we can do this already with RemotePlayback and ive set this up, but he is not happy with it (nor am I). It does not give you a nice way to play back video logs. It prompts you everytime it downloads a video segment which is annoying, and after it downloads all the video footage from a time frame, you can't play it all back without opening up a folder and attempting to find the downloaded video, and even then its not that great. Its just not that smooth to use when trying to playback larges amount of footage (an hour time span here and there) He likes the video/audio log on the main DVR and we've setup that LanViewCtrl on his desktop to playback local footage (although everytime he starts the software, hes forced to re-located the path for the DVR footage which is annoying)... Does anybody have any ideas on what we can do here... being he has 5 store fronts and wants to be able to playback an hour time span here and there across different DVR's in different locations around town... scottj 0 Posted November 14, 2006 Purchase Control Center (dongle) and you can import selected cameras from multiple IP locations (DVR at each location) into a single database for viewing the Audio/Video files exactly as you wish. For example if you wanted just the front lot camera from each location to be classified as a folder, you can pull just those database files into Control Center for easy access and viewing without the headaches of RPB.
