Update firmware IMOU NVR2104-W-4KS2

Hello all,

First of all, I would like to mention here, that after a short search on the Internet I came across this website. What great content this site has.
I am extremely happy to have found this and hopefully someone can help me and/or explain something about Imou NVR2104-W-4KS2.

Have seen that at Dahua there is new firmware for the NVR. However when uploading this the firmware update stops every time exactly when it is at 50%. 

What could this be and could this be because this is from Imou and so far not allowing Dahua firmware. Bought this set several years ago with 4x Imou IPC-G26E cameras with it.

Just want to update it once but this is not possible.

Anyone have any idea how to do this with the NVR and can I still use the cameras or do they also need to be updated with firmware from Dahua or something?
