TurboMan 0 Posted July 10, 2024 Looked up the max cable length runs for Reolink NVR systems and they say it is 80 meters or 260ft. Can this be longer if you have a POE switch added? We have our NVR in an AV closet in our family room. From there it travels about 120fr to a large pole building where we have a POE switch with a bunch of cameras. From there I need add new runs about 200ft long to our new equine barn. Are we going to have signal loss? Does it matter if I use CAT6 or CAT5E cables? Does the signal travel further with CAT6?
