TurboMan 0 Posted July 10 Looked up the max cable length runs for Reolink NVR systems and they say it is 80 meters or 260ft. Can this be longer if you have a POE switch added? We have our NVR in an AV closet in our family room. From there it travels about 120fr to a large pole building where we have a POE switch with a bunch of cameras. From there I need add new runs about 200ft long to our new equine barn. Are we going to have signal loss? Does it matter if I use CAT6 or CAT5E cables? Does the signal travel further with CAT6?
