Adding new IP Cameras to Hikvision iDS-7216HUHI-M2

Hi all

I bought 3 used Hikvision cameras (DC-2CD2346G2) cameras to add to my DVR (model iDS-7216HUHI-M2).

I need some basic instruction in how to add them (they may or may not be factory reset).

I have plugged the camera into the router directly and then have accessed the DVR settings via the browser and using System/CameraManagement/IPCamera .. can get to the "quick add" or "add" commands ... but when I do this I then struggle. I can see the new camera in the camera list but it shows as offline / IP address not aligned to others...

Can someone help as to a) do I need to reset passwords on the camera, if so how and b) how to add it in line with the other IP cameras.

Hi! I found guide on Hikvision website and think you may need to download the tool software at  https://www.hikvision.com/en/support/tools/hitools/cl7f0143d2c781a3e3/

Then reset password and active it.
