Kip 0 Posted June 28, 2004 Newbie here. I am trying to put together a budget video capture system for a High School football team. We hope to have one ptz camera on a portable pole in the end zone and one or more cameras elsewhere. I want to go digital all the way. All camera feeds must be captured for eventual selected playback. I am considering just using camcorders and laptops. Then I can migrate the files to a central server/PC. The end zone camera needs to have a zoom that can shoot 100 yards and have a clear image of seven guys shoulder-to-shoulder. Thoughts? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

AVCONSULTING 0 Posted June 28, 2004 For what you want you might want to consider one of the higher end consumer models since they have features such as image stabilization.
