corviarbob 0 Posted yesterday at 12:08 AM i have 8 foscam r2 cameras and i used to be able to use the search tool v4 to log onto them and then keep 4 tabs pinned to the top in windows so i could click any one and vire it and pan and zoom real easy. but we had a house burn down and so i got 8 more foscam r2 cameras and now for the life of me i can't get that app to run these cameras. i even did salvage 4 of the other cameras and tried to connect to them and when the search tool tries to open one i get an error message that tells me i need a app to allow them to run. it will sometimes try to download that app called ambraXXXXXX but then i get a message telling me the app is running and will not continue. i found the apps location and deleted it and even use garys app to find it and uninstall it but again i get that same message. so i got foscam to send me the newer vms app and i can load the cameras into that app but it seems i can only get 8 cameras to load even though i seems to have 16 or more camera slots. so i guess i can get used to that vms app but then i need to figure out how to get more than 8 cameras to show. unless there is a good camera app that will let me not only see the cameras but will let me configure them.
