rawcuttv 0 Posted November 10, 2006 WILL PAY UP TO £500 PER MINUTE USED FOR CRIMINAL INCIDENTS THAT ARE CAUGHT ON CCTV CAMERAS I’m requesting any CCTV footage that you may have of any dangerous driving, criminal incidents or anti-social behavior that have been caught on your or client’s CCTV cameras. We are a television production company called Raw Cut TV and we have been commissioned by SKY One to make a fifth series about road safety and street crime called Road Wars. The twenty hour long programmes include footage of the rapid response unit of the Thames Valley Police. We use this footage interspersed with CCTV footage from councils, police, shopping centers, transport companies, petrol stations etc… We work very closely with surveillance companies and are keen to demonstrate success stories in catching criminals and anti social behavior on camera which lead to prosecution. The series, Road Wars will also give advice and guidance on how to feel and be safer on our streets and how to protect homes and businesses against crime. The police will give tips on avoiding confrontations and dealing safely with violent or drunken trouble makers. Advice and guidance is also given for the ordinary driver on how to feel and be safer on our increasingly crowded roads and how to stay in control of our ever more sophisticated cars. The programmes put the ordinary motorist in the spotlight by showing the best examples of the worst driving committed daily on our roads. The programmes are aimed at the youth market and by using music and graphics is designed to appeal to this audience. With a careful mix of educational information coupled with what the viewer will believe is entertainment – the programmes will take a fresh and dynamic new approach to portraying what it’s like to police Britain’s streets. Raw Cut TV is fully aware of the implications of both the Data Protection rules and the European Convention in the broadcast of video archive material. All footage is screened by our legal department and the appropriate measures are taken for compliance before broadcast. Please let me know if you need any more details? Raw Cut TV would love the opportunity to work with you and use some of your or your client's footage in the series. As standard we pay up to £500 per broadcast minute to use material like this, which I hope will be of use to you.
