Dave-J 0 Posted November 29, 2006 I have an older, '03 GV800 system with 5 BW cameras installed. I'm using RG6 coax and 24V power. Iwant to add at least 1 possibly 2 BW PTZ cameras 750'-1000' from the source. The PTZ would be mounted on a pole 20'-25' high along a roadway, underneath a 250W high pressure sodium light (street light). The street light illuminates approx. 75' in either direction. Iwant to monitor this at night but I would like to be able to zoom to 300' during the day. I'm thinking my budget per PTZ is $1000-$1500? I will probably buy from a local supplier like ADI. Any suggestions on what brand/model cameras to look at that would be compatable with my system and monitor the area mentioned? Dave Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
