ecotack 0 Posted December 3, 2006 Recently I had my pickup keyed in my drive. I had a cctv camera on the garage, but stopped using it some time back when I couldn't get my BT878 4 port PCI cards to work in my new PC. As a quick solution I am presently using a Grand X Guard 4 port USB, the poor software it comes with and a cheap 30 IR LED CMOS camera on a 1500mW transmitter (bought for another use). I have noticed a few dog walkers use day glow fluorescent jackets, which reflect back the LED's and blind the camera at night. Any ideas how to compensate for these? Any recommendations for a 4 (or more) input PCI card (or USB) available in the UK? Something that will work with Go1984. I presently have a few of the BT878 cards (ucc4 v2), but I can only get them to work with the peco2000 1.9 trial (which is naff anyway). Using the WDM drivers I can use one input at a time only, but those drivers messed up my Skystar 1c, then disabled my audio and CD/DVD drives. It took me 4 hours to sort that mess out. Are these cards any use, or should I just stamp on them? My plan is to have one good camera on the garage (recommendations?), a small hidden camera looking down the road, a IR LED camera watching the path to my front door and a wireless link to the rear view camera on my bike (covering up the road). There is also a new PIR flood light on the garage as this new camera was not as good in low light as the previous (I think this one is CMOS and the other was CCD).
