313-313 0 Posted December 19, 2006 I have this GV pc system. It was working fine for a year now. But all of sudden cannot access web cam. I have the webcam server running, tried turing off the windows firewall, even enabled DMZ mode in the router but just cannot connect. I have have two machines with similar issues. iSpyVision 0 Posted December 20, 2006 Your high spped provider may have changed the port they use for email such as port 80. In that case you will need to change to port 81. Try www.canyouseeme.org to see if your ports are actually open. I would bet port 80 is noe being used by your carrier. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
ezCCTV 0 Posted December 20, 2006 As with the post above try changing the HTTP port in GeoVision to something other than port 80. THis is done from the Server tab of the Webcam setup page. another way to check your system from the remote location is to use the telnet command. From a command prompt type: telnet xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx example telnet 81.86.29.25 4550 If the port is open, then you will get a blank screen with a flashing cursor.
