mcs 0 Posted July 7, 2004 Hi I recently went over to supplying geovision based DVR's, Running windows xp Pro- high speced pc's I was using comart gear and have just about replaced all the cards we had installed cept a few that wont pay the price to upgrade, the software has to many problems clashing with windows and systems crash and creata more dramas then they are worth. The cards are to highly priced to compensate for the software support. I buy from DVR expert and in AUS there is no other DVR competitor,, I use a SW embedded DMR - digital multiplex recorder, - (netdigital) as a low cost reliable system.. for all high security app or high recording requirements we build machines with Geo cards in them, there is no other on the market in this range. I enjoy being a geo-alltech dealer and this not only secures my industry by having selected dealers it keeps the cowboys out...... I applaud all wholesalers who only deal direct and select distributors of their products, nb: I once had a franchise which i bought from a guy who went to work for a W/sler and they ripped me off by under cutting me with products and I left after 9 months, so i know first hand what damage can be done i lost in excess of 35k aus nice kick in the guts, still paying for it now-.... anyways im new to this forum, although ive been watching from the sidelines for a few months, I decided to register and join in.... mcs 0 Posted July 7, 2004 I forgot to mention we are doing a major upgrade at a hotel, it includes 3 DVR's with GV900-16 cards, upgrading the 25 cameras there to 48 in total, When we are finished id like to post some pics, will keep you updated- Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
