geovision log location problem

when i start up my geovision 800 software, it keeps saying not enough disk space, even though i have 25gbs free. it also says it cant record becuase the disk space is too low and to check the log location which i have done. log location c:/GV800, but in add log location dialog, it says availalbe: NOT VALID. any help?
