alunevansodp 0 Posted January 6, 2007 Hi i am totally new to the cctv world and am trying to set up a PC system with 2 cameras. PC Specs are AMD Athlon 64 3200+ 1GB RAM 160 GB SATA Drive dedicated to CCTV ATI Saphire Radeon X1300 512mb hypermemory PCI/E Graphics Card I have 2 30fps outdoor cameras that work when i connect them to a TV A 4ch 60f digital video record DVR Card IE View and H.264 Digital video recorder software. When i installed the DVR card windows XP home edition recognised the card and installed the drivers from the disc. The card is recognised as Wave-p video capture device in sound, video and game controllers of device manager. And the software seems to have installed without any problems. However i cant get it to display any images whatsoever when i conect my cameras to it. Can anyone please give me some guidance or help. Thanks in advance

crirvine 0 Posted January 9, 2007 For one MOST ALL DVR cards do not like AMD and non-intel based mothers boards. You will have to goto where you got the DVR card from and look at the specs for that card.
turksan 0 Posted January 9, 2007 Your problem's solution is so simple. Don't worry about it . Just enter to the setup menu of DVR program and change Show Mode to Direct 3D.
