rory 0 Posted January 15, 2007 Hi .. Need more specs .. Complete PC Specs. Power Supply/ies used and their Voltage Type Type of Cable Used How were the cameras focused #1 - Combo Cards like ATI. Though they also work with others. #2 - Did you verify the camera quality on a CCTV (spot) Monitor at the head end? Sounds like may just be an issue with the video overlay also. rory 0 Posted January 15, 2007 ok PC specs seem fine. I take it you are using onboard video? If so, upgrade to the latest Intel Graphics drivers from their site. When i said Focus, I was asking what did you focus them on? Did you use a CCTV CRT Spot Monitor, or just using the PC monitor, or something else? Are you using an LCD Monitor for the DVR, if so which type? So each camera has its own 12VDC power Supply? Note that if you dont have a CCTV CRT monitor then a 13" TV Will suffice, it will give you much better quality for focusing than using a VGA Monitor through the DVR and even more so than using an LCD. Ghazi 0 Posted January 15, 2007 Thanks for replying, the video card came with the system, but it is not onboard, it is using the pci slot. NVIDIA GeForce 7300 LE I used PC monitor to focus the cameras, and I will use your advise, and focus it using the tv. no each camera doesnt use it own power, you think it can make this big impact on the resolution? Please take a look at the picture of the supply i am using to each 4 channel. 2000ma 4 channel Monitor is Dell 19fp 19 inches so which thing i should change first, POWER SUPPLY? CABLE? VIDEO CARD? DRIVERS? what do think the cause of changing colors first? dark to light, purple to gray?
