mikep 0 Posted January 16, 2007 I have a MagicRadar CS08 card & software (version 3.2.10.5) running on windows 2000 machine. Recently the network client stopped working ("connection to server failed"), while the server is operating normally. I reinstalled the client, checked the client & server parameters, etc. but everything looks OK. Someone hinted that it might be one of the many windows updates which I recently installed. The local and remote machines are on the same subnet, with no routers or firewalls in between. Any ideas? thanks in advance, Mike Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
crirvine 0 Posted January 19, 2007 1. Can you ping the DVR address? 2. Did it ever work right? 3. Have you logged out on the DVR and tried to connect remotely? 4. What physical changes have you made? 5. How do you connect to the internet and DVR and not be on a network? 6. Have checked the network cards to see they working in both computers? 7.
