Help choosing componants

I am an ex alarm installer. I do the alarm upkeep for a friends warehouse. Now he wants a cctv system due to burglery. I am new to cctv but I learn fast and he a patiance person. Would like some ideas on chosing the right system.

What he wants:

-PTZ w/tracking

-longest view area a 250 ft distance

-zoom in on there smiling face while there stealing my truck(his comment)

-aleast 8 channels

-veiwing and PTZ control from computer at home.

- 2 monitors for warehouse

We have a local shop that carry certain cctv equipment (GANZ, speco,etc).

I have been looking at the Speco DVR-8TN. It as triplex operation,dome camera protocol(rs485, Pelco D,P;AD422,fastrax,dynacolor).built in RW.

Also panasonic WV-CW964 camera.

Any help is appreciated
