Lolo Wolf 0 Posted January 27, 2007 New Hampshire live free or die, interesting news story for property owners. http://www.securityinfowatch.com/online/CCTV--and--Surveillance/N.H.-Bill-Addresses-Right-to-Use-Video-Surveillance-on-Property/10333SIW427
VST_Man 1 Posted January 29, 2007 Bad press for the cops............and a loop hole that the Cops abused. if the Cops are ashamed of thier actions, maybe they need to turn in the badge. They returned the equipment and are still tap dancing the issue on the recording. OBVIOUSLY the detectives did something against the Law and the Higher ups are protecting them. Sad eh? Lolo Wolf 0 Posted January 29, 2007 What I couldnt figure from reading the story was how the police got a hold of his gear? Did they return to his house after he was arrested and sieze without a warrant? Dashboard cams, flashlight cams, law enforcement protect themselves from civil recourse and for good reason but a citizen should always have the right to protect their home and family. Unless he made backups, Im sure those tapes are history.Reminds me of a covert install I did for a client awhile ago....cameras looking at cameras...if you know what I mean. rory 0 Posted January 29, 2007 Id have thought he would make backups or just give them a copy, before taking the video to them .. never give the cops your only copy!
