MLinks 0 Posted February 8, 2007 I need recommendation for good 32 channel DVR card for a custom system some thing similar to GeoVision in as far as functionality would be nice. Or should I use 2 16ch GV1240 cards with GeoVision Control Center that allows remote monitoring many DVR sites. One of the main requirements of this system will be Remote monitoring If anyone has done this before I would really appreciate your feed back or any suggestions. Thank you. CameraGenius 0 Posted February 8, 2007 You should be fine going with 2 16 channel geovision cards. Remote monitoring will be very easy to setup with this configuration as well.

501 0 Posted February 9, 2007 Are you recording in 320X240 or 640x480? I was told by our supplier that the combo cards all record the same fps in 640x480 as the GV800, so you could look at the 1120 then instead.
rory 0 Posted February 9, 2007 Personally I wouldnt use another Combo card .. at least not the 1120 ... live video is not as clear as the GV800
MLinks 0 Posted February 9, 2007 I was going to use 2 GV900 16ch ver 7.05 .

501 0 Posted February 10, 2007 I have found the live cameras the same for all the combo cards, not as good as the 800. The recorded video is about the same though. The major gain to a combo card is the TV out because I have never needed more then 1 audio input never mind the 4 of the GV800 (combo has 16).
MLinks 0 Posted February 11, 2007 But what about the FPS. GV800 = 120FPS GV900 = 240FPS GV800 might be as good as you say for Remote view, but Vs. gv900 for live viewing, I don't see how that could add up?
