webvisionz 0 Posted July 21, 2004 About that post about DVRwholesaler, yeah, I also received a letter from them couple weeks ago, and I placed an order through them. Now i have had them tested for about a week or two and I would say the quality is pretty good. I've tested about a 5 Linux based DVRs from other various companies like secumax, but this one is actually the best that I've tested. Probably I'd say, this is the fastest Linux based DVR and the one with the best playback quality. Others were kind of sluggish and somewhat have blurry images. I plan to order some more this week. rory 0 Posted July 21, 2004 have you tried any other embedded CCTV DVR units?? I just tested the hiSharp DVR, its not Linux, it is another embedded cant remember the name, quality is almost equivelant to the GE DVRs, though less features but still great for home or small retail use, remote software is limited but clear remote video. Do you have any video shots of the network software?
