tyman00 0 Posted March 2, 2007 Maybe I am missing it, but is there a thread or article where people are reccommending cameras of all types (Hi Res Indoor and Outdoor, Standard Res, Dome, PTZ Dome, Bullet, Wireless/IP, etc.). I have searched but I only come across where there is one camera here and there that is reccomended. I am really curious to see what you larger installers (i.e. rory) use when you do an installation for a client. We have some Chinese cameras that supposedly have Sony chips and are520 lines, but I just don't think they are as good as good as they could be. I don't have the ability to compare them side to side, but I really think these lack in quality when I compare them to some 480 line Vicon cameras I have seen. I also think some of the quality issue comes from what I believe are knock off cards in our DVR. So naturally, I am also curious to see what you reccomend for DVR's and DVR Cards.
