Liquid_Squelch 0 Posted March 10, 2007 Hi, The HD in my Q-SEE DVR was formatted last night. Today, when I try and turn on the DVR, the unit is stuck on the "HDD Disk Checking" Screen. If I remove the drive, and then boot, the DVR will skip over the drive, and go into live mode. This unit is under 1yr old. Does this sound like a bad HDD?? Can I remove the HDD from the bay, and reformat it as FAT in a windows PC? Like I said, the unit was working last night before it was formatted. Unfortunately, I missed Q-SEE's customer support by 1hr tonight, and its Friday! I have to wait all weekend to get them on Monday. And help before then would be great Thanks!
