Help with install price

I have a customer who wants me to install a new 5 camera system and move his old 4 camera system, so he is now gonna be using two systems, How much would you charge to relocate the 4 camera system and what would you charge him?

Depends a lot on e.g. following items:

 

. How about new cabling?

. How about the need for other lenses, mounting brackets, housings?

. What about reconfiguration of the cameras in the DVR system?

No new cabling, No new lenses and no configuration its not a digital system its an old analog system that he wants to be able to keep seperate from the new DVR we are installing

Removing the cameras from where they currntly are are relocating them to differnt parts of the store, and moving the tv to a new location

charge by the hour, with a deposit, or by the camera, like a new install.

 

These are current pricing I charge, low to high end: Will include wiring on the high end pricing, if they buy parts through me, otherwise I add that on seperately, generally price is just to mount and focus camera etc, approx $75 per hour.

No problem. I forgot to mention also, everything here is double as far as expenses, so we normally charge more than the US, though you drive further distances so it could even out in the amount of gas you use. (we are 21 miles by 11 miles only). I got these prices from a mix of LA and Miami prices.

the $150/$250 for a 4 channel DVR......what else do you add to that? Or is $250 your price for a 4 camera system install?

i add the price per camera also.

 

The system price is for install of the system components, which is obviously higher than it would be if by the hour but thats how I work it out, instead of the way alot do it here in the Bahamas which is by percentage which comes out to more normally.
