Kodicom on d-link di-524 connection fail

Hi there, hope there is someone out there that can help me, I have installed on a client's router a kodicom pc based dvr- the router is a d-link and when I connect for the Internet I get this message webidg~1 connection fail-

 

I went to one of your messages and followed the instructions there buit I am still having the same problem to connect I am typing the ip address with :80

and I get the login screen but when I log in I get the eror message....

Hi, is port 80 forwarded to the DVR's internal IP, if using a router.

Also, does your ISP leave port 80 open? Some close that port. You could try to set it up for port 81. But still if you have a router (not a direct internet connection to the DVR) then you need to port forward.
