scorpion 0 Posted April 26, 2007 Ha! Ha! Ha! I have seen this before! This is the first time I have seen it with google! If they are promoting it then it must work pretty good! I have a question. How do I prevent a neighbor from tapping in to my line via their "Tisp" access point? Is this password protected? Has anyone used it yet? I have a home owners association that could use this! They have no ip connection. What are the bandwith issues? Does anyone know a hacker that can get me Tisp modem in case that enroll the millionth customer and start charging a fee? scorpion 0 Posted May 4, 2007 Hey guys! I just got my "kit" in and IT WORKS GREAT! This is going to revolutionize the industry! It didn't cost me a dime! The only problem I had was getting my cat 5 up in to the ceiling, running it through the attic and to my computer. Other than that no problems! Ha! Ha! mr.surveillance 0 Posted May 5, 2007 There is a minor problem with the Google installation instructions. Run the cable under the seat as the cable is very uncomfortable to sit on.
scorpion 0 Posted May 6, 2007 For the cable/sat industry they have a part that is flat so that you can run cable under a window sash, I wonder if they have one for CAT 5? This would be great under the seat.
Rooney 0 Posted May 7, 2007 I wonder if you get better upload speed when you flush. Most broadband is faster download than upload. Just a thought. Also, will the insulation on the cable wear down over time because of friction? I would not want to pull it back out again. Or maybe you just attach a new cable to the old one and send it back to the junction for the PHDs to handle.
scorpion 0 Posted May 8, 2007 Buddy of mine gave me a special bit to drill through the porcelain. A little silicon caulk and I am good to go. Good to go. Ha! Ha! Now I get it.
