Video baluns with Power Cat 5

Hi guys, I wanted to ask a question about your experiences with transmitting not only video but also power with UTP Baluns.

 

Because of the low gauge (24 AWG) power tranmission is kind on the low side

and you loose the advantage of using utp with 4 pairs.

 

If you have used baluns to transmit power, what distances have worked for you? I know is kind of a tricky question because is not the same to install a fixed camera than a PTZ camera but I would really like to know about your experiences with this type of baluns

The power 24VAV could be transmit 300-400 meters with Cat5.And UTP　baluns are not needed in the transmitting power.
