CCTVINSTALLER 0 Posted August 12, 2004 Hi all, For those of you who use Ganz cameras, how do they compare to Bosch Dinion range and other brands such as Sony, Sanyo and Panasonic. I'm Particularly interested in the 1/3" Day/Night. In the past we've used sony or panasonic Chipsets, the Ganz cameras have an "IT chipset", haven't come across this yet, any feedback. Cheers
cctv_down_under 0 Posted August 17, 2004 I think it stands for Interline Transfer, they have two daynighters, a cheap one that is still excellent but not Digital, and a Fully programmable version, this is a fair bit more expensive, mind you the Wide Dynamic has dropped quite considerably, had the Rep here from Japan, just the other day, they have a new varifocal doem coming out and they have massivly dropped the price of the GZYCH25 camera, it is now cheaper than Samsung Techwin. I said many people in the forum say that it is expensive, but he says ony in US is it priced higher, Mate really I have sold thousands and thousands and thousands of these cameras and had about 10 faulty, they are very very well engineered indeed. CCTVINSTALLER 0 Posted August 18, 2004 I think the ZC-NH403 is the more expensive one you're talking about. I've seen this camera, but its made in taiwan, hows the quality compared to other DN cams. How would people rate the samsung SDN520 in the day night camera market place
cctv_down_under 0 Posted August 18, 2004 Yep yopur right, that is why we do not move many of them, the 25P is also made in Korea and the Wide Dynamic in Germany, we usually stick to the Japanese made ones, they have two day nighters and a wide dynamic, the cheaper Taiwanese one without Digital Display is actually pretty good, better than the Samsung and NOW around the same price. With Samsung you need to be carefull as there is Samsung Techwin and Samsung Electronics, both are very different in reliability stakes. Samsungs cameras actually aren't that bad for the prices, but the reliability of the Techwin range is not that good.
