kmurrey 0 Posted May 7, 2007 I was looking for some input on the people that are using Hawkeye based on Linux. How has their hardware held up? How is the software? I have talked with them and they say they have a 32 channel coming up soon. But no h.264 - that seesm like a problem. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
kensplace 0 Posted May 7, 2007 Not hear of those before, so cant comment on the dvr. What codecs does it support, I have one linux based standalone dvr that uses mpeg2 and the quality is spot on. H264 quality is going to vary from manu to manu, depending on their compression settings (as will other codecs also) Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
