RichTJ99 0 Posted May 10, 2007 Hi, I was curious what others are doing for security of their remote "webcam" pages. When the Webcam software is loaded on the server, anyone with the correct port can find your web cam software. While you need a username & password to access it, can that inital page itself be password protected? What are others doing for security? CollinR 0 Posted May 10, 2007 Yes you can secure it, the easiest is to use a router as a VPN endpoint. I'm unsure as to how to hack the Geo webserver but it appears you can use Apache with it.
